From Brian and Danielle, in memory of Keith, a good neighbour and stalwart friend :
“Never send to know for whom the bell tolls - it tolls for thee”.
Those famous words of John Donne encapsulate the feelings I have about Keith’s leaving us behind in this cruel world of ours. We are all diminished and feel the loss acutely.
Danielle.
Thoughts of Keith, tinged with inevitable sadness just now, also go back to happy moments, stretching over decades of friendship, shared over good food and wine, including a memorable party to mark the new millennium, and especially many hours spent together on our beloved allotments, where we could always look forward to meeting up and putting the world to rights. The immediate pain of loss will gradually diminish. The good memories will live on.
Brian.

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
